Hi,

If you're reading this it means I've stopped procrastinating and finally decided to have a public presence on the Internet. "Yes, very unique in 2026," I hear you exclaim. And yet, you're here. Joke's on you. :)

But enough about you, what about me?

I am... someone, who is interested in exploring who I am... Semi-publicly. Great start.

I don't plan to have a concrete plan for this blog [sic]. I will probably talk about computer things. That will probably include Linux things, and programming things, and other computer-adjacent things. One of my favorite things is trying to build my own things and making them worse than everyone else's things, but in my own way.

Other things I do include: playing piano (badly), speaking Japanese (badly), and unicycling (semi-competently). All of these or none of these may feature in future blog posts.

I also want to talk about: my life, who I am, who I'm trying to be, and what I'm learning as I try to get there. Really I'm trying to form a narrative about who I am. I think it'll be good for me. If it's good for you too, neat. Maybe we can talk about that.

The design of this blog is meant to be fun. I plan to write all of the HTML by hand until I get bored of that. Then I'll probably do the above mentioned thing and make my own bad things to automate it some. There is a little JavaScript (that I wrote) to make that neato WebGL widget, but it's just a bit of whimsy.

I fully expect to overhaul this website multiple times, if I get that far. I think it'll be jumbled and disorganized and messy, and that's by design.

So, my output may not be well-formed, sensible, or consistent; interaction with me may not be simple; I may not always operate efficiently in all conditions; Nonetheless, I plan to be every bit of the fitful machine that I am.
